Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Safiya Reid made Atlanta home when she moved to attain her Bachelor’s in Economics and Master’s in Communication from Spelman College and Georgia State University, respectively. Since then, Safiya has honed operational skills in the pharmaceutical, merchant processing, radio, and market research industries. Now she has the pleasure of leading PURE Insurance’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion efforts, where she is avidly committed to fostering environments where everyone has an equitable chance to learn, develop and succeed and where all feel welcome, safe, and supported to do their best work.
