Dionna Griffin-Irons is a writer, adjunct professor and the longtime former Director of Talent Diversity and Inclusion at The Second City. She brings two decades of inclusion and belonging experience to her teaching and facilitation inspired by women she met behind bars. Her inclusion work has been instituted at Second City Chicago, Hollywood and Toronto. She has taught 200+ workshops at colleges, women’s shelters, corporate boardrooms, and worked with the United States Embassy in Norway and Latvia introducing improv as a tool for social change. She is adjunct faculty at DePaul University, UIC, The Second City Film School, and Story Studio Chicago.
