Performance Planning

What is performance planning and how does it work?

Performance planning is the process of setting individual employee goals, expectations, and development priorities at the start of a performance cycle, typically the fiscal year. Effective performance planning aligns individual objectives with team and company goals, includes both performance goals (what to achieve) and development goals (how to grow), and produces specific, measurable commitments. The output of performance planning becomes the input to mid-year and end-of-year reviews.
